A friend recommended that I take my car to Medlock Gulf after it overheated and needed repairs. As someone who can do basic repairs and generally does his own maintenance, I found that the mechanics and service manager on duty were honest with me regarding the nature of my vehicle's problems and did not attempt to mislead me or push unnecessary fixes in order to jack up the price. My own research on the cost of parts needed matched up with the price that I was quoted for parts, and that is a good feeling. The staff at Medlock Gulf were happy to drive me to a neighborhood restaurant where I ate and did work until my car was fixed. In the end, the repair took less than the time quoted and was finished on budget.
