I have been very satisfied.

Just had our third service done at Medlock Gulf and can honestly say they are the best in the biz. I come from a family of mechanics (sadly none of them live here!) and have trouble trusting others with my vehicles. Well, no more. From the day I got a nail in my tire which they fixed in 10 minutes as a walk-in without me having to even take the kids out of the carseats; to the last two oil change/tire rotations I had done where my appointment was honored and I was out in less than 30 minutes, these guys are fantastic. Also love the new (super clean!) waiting room with coffee, TV and complimentary wireless - these guys know customer service and car service and I am glad I found them! Thanks guys!

Paul, who I believe is the manager, is great! And so is the owner, who's name I can not remember- sorry. I came to them after I heard they were the guys that would help me get my old 95 Honda to pass emissions. Here's the story-I had gone to my husbands mechanic and was told I needed a new catalytic converter, paid 700 bucks and still couldn't get my car to pass emissions. Finally after 3 people told me to go to Medlock Gulf (previously Medlock Marathon) I did. They took me aside, told me that they did not like to speak poorly about other mechanics, but explained to me that I had in fact not been given a new converter from the other mechanic. He suggested that I take it back to the other mechanic and ask them to "put the old catalytic converter back on". So we did, and then we came back to Medlock Gulf and have been going there ever since- my husband also uses them now after learning our previous mechanic was not being honest.Long story short- these guys are honest, locally owned, and enjoyable to work with. They take their jobs seriously, and the gas is fair priced too. Everyone that I have recommended to go to Medlock Gulf has been happy with their service and prices too! I always have a good experience at Medlock. This time I was taking my car on a trip right before I was going to trade it in. I wanted to make sure my family was safe, but also didn't want to invest too much money. I was given all my alternatives so I could decide what needed to be done. I was also given an honest opinion on what could wait and what needed to be done ASAP. They could have told me I had to do it all, but they didn't. They truly feel like my neighborhood mechanic.

I have been taking my cars up to Medlock for as long as I can remember and I have never been disappointed. This was just a minor stop b/c all I needed was a battery, but they were so helpful in making sure I knew what I was doing. Great group and great service.

The staff at Medlock have always been very helpful to me, both the office and mechanics. They are willing to take time to explain the repairs needed and why. They offer discounts whenever possible. They are consistent and send out emails when oil changes etc are due which is great to keep my car on track for maintenance. I will definitely continue to take my 1999 Acura to them.
